FORE the Kids!
A big hit for kids!
The third annual Brady Financial Group/YMCA
Strong Kids Golf Classic at Century Pines Golf Club on September 15, was
another huge success.
More than 150 golfers participated and helped
to raise $38,000, our single largest total to-date. We have raised more
than $86,000 in the three years this event has been sponsored by Brady
Financial Group.
All proceeds from the event support the
YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, which enables children who cannot afford
the fees to participate in various YMCA recreational programs.
"The proceeds from the day will go a long way
to ensure that many children and youth in our community will benefit from
a YMCA experience, regardless of their ability to pay the fees," says Jim
Commerford, President and CEO of YMCA of Hamilton/Burlington.
Russ Jackson, former quarterback for the
Ottawa Roughriders, was Master of Ceremonies for the third year.

the 2005 tournament:
Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005 at Century Pines Golf Club.
 In 2003, employees organized the Second
Annual Brady Financial Group Charity Golf Tournament, which saw 148
golfers participate and raised $25,000 for the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.
The tournament was held at Burlington’s Millcroft Golf Club, with funds
raised through local sponsorships and a silent auction. Russ Jackson,
former quarterback for the Ottawa Roughriders, was Master of Ceremonies
for the second year.
