Kevin Brady

Kevin Brady is a personable leader and entrepreneur.  By 1998, he had an enviable track record of more than 10 years in management with well-respected London Life Insurance.  He headed up employee benefits offices in London, Calgary and Burlington, as regional and senior management for southern Ontario.

In 1999, Kevin decided to open his own company, providing employee benefits for corporations.  Brady Financial Group has grown into one of the largest and most reputable independent financial service companies in Southern Ontario.  Its 14 employees provide consultation and service to over 400 corporate clients that encompass 32,000 employees.

The company’s divisions include its Dynamic Benefits Solutions (employee benefits), Advanced Security Solution, (for business owners/executives), and Personal Security Solution which provides insurance and financial solutions for individuals and employees.

Brady Financial Group’s most recent initiative, VIP Health Options, provides comprehensive health care solutions.  As “roadside assistance for your health”, the program is a unique healthcare plan that focuses on prevention, early diagnosis and the fastest access to the best healthcare in the world.

One of the prime reasons that entrepreneurial companies fail or close is due to ill health on the part of the owner or key executive and it is this idea behind VIP Health Options that has so appealed to business owners and executives that Kevin has recently spun off this division into a separate company and its own distributor network across Canada.

Kevin Brady is a dedicated family man and community booster.  In 2008 Kevin, who was regarded by Mayor Cam Jackson as “a leader by example and a cornerstone of our community” was named Burlington Citizen of the Year.

A board member of the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation for the past seven years and current chair, Kevin Brady has been very active in the YMCA Hamilton/Burlington serving on the board and as board chair.  Kevin also has been active with Rotary International.  He also has contributed to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Canadian Cancer Society, Kidney Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, United Way and Médecins Sans Frontières Haiti Relief. 

Through its annual golf tournament, Brady Financial has raised more than $390,000.  Fully 100% of these funds have been donated to the YMCA’s Strong Kids program.  As a result of Brady Financial Group’s efforts, 3,000 children attend Y camps or programs they could not otherwise afford.

Kevin is a strong believer that being actively involved in the community can enrich life for his family: wife Barb who heads up the Personal Security Solution division at Brady Financial Group, his sons Tim and Matt and his daughter Lauren.

Kevin has 24 years of experience in the employee benefits and retirement field.  After working in a number of different positions with a leading employee benefits provider for over 14 years, Kevin decided in 1998 to start his own employee benefits company. 

Kevin has served for the past 5 years on the Advisory Board of Businesshealth, a publication produced for business owners and executives, which focuses on creating healthy workplaces and improved bottom line results.

Today, Brady Financial Group provides consultation and service to over 400 corporate accounts.  Kevin currently provides consulting service to a select number of accounts.
